I think #3 could also be a control issue, and I think that is the one most difficult for me. At work, I am a "I'll just do it myself to make sure it gets done right (which really means "the way I want to do it, which equals control). But then I have to very quickly realize that anything I do is trash anyway unless God blesses it and is part of it. Thanks for making me think about things a little differently this morning!

All good words and just when we needed to hear them. Mike and I have the same issues and it helps to hear how some one else deals with them. Thank you.

What an amzing picture! Although the castle and pixie dust are breath taking, they won't hold a candle to what heaven holds. So grateful for a relentless Father that paid a much higher price than I will ever know so I can call heaven & all its splendor MINE!!

Favorite family memory? Wow - that's tough!! For me, it would have to be taking Addisyn to see "Sesame Stree Live" last year. She was so in awe of all the singing, colors, dancing, etc. Bubba said that he loved it because not only was Addisyn having a great time, he looked at my face, and the joy of being able to do this with our daughter was beaming from me. We are seeing "Beauty and the Beast"(Broadway Version) in a couple of weeks, and I am sure she and I will both be in amazement - her at the beautiful singing, but me in amazement for how God has blessed me with a miracle that took 7-1/2 years to receive!!

What am I looking forward to in Heaven? Well, I think you are trying to trick us with that question, because obviously, it is Jesus, but I am looking forward to seeing my grandparents. Most of all, I am looking forward to worshipping God with a group of believers who won't have their own personal agendas, won't be worried about how foolish they look, won't be concerned with all the non-important stuff. They will just be loving on the Father because He is worthy. Can't wait!! (I kinda think we experienced this on Sunday!)

Thanks for pouring into my life and for being a great Pastor and friend!!

Good word Pastor. There are many things I need to be still and let go of. At the top of the list is anxiety and worry about the future. The future of our country worries me, the future for my kids and the fact that every day I can feel my body aging worries me. Lots of things to worry about if we let Satan control our thoughts. I found that the simplest way to be still and let go is to do a nose dive into the Word. When I fill my thoughts with the things of God and invite the Holy Spirit to regain control of my life, there is no room for worry or anxiety! I have to make a concious effort to daily renew my mind an my thoughts.
